Construction of new warehouses in Wroclaw IV Goodman Logistics Centre takes off

Goodman began construction of a new production facility at the Goodman Wrocław IV Logistics Centre. The unit is to be built by the end of the third quarter of 2015. The lesee, Gestamp, was representedby the consulting agency JLL.

With the new plant, Gestamp company, an international group involved in the design, development and manufacture of metal parts for the automotive industry, will be able to support key customers in the automotive industry in Western Europe. Goodman logistics center provides the customer the opportunity to expand the facility to 43,600 sqm.

- Construction of a new production plant in Wrocław is an important element of the strategy to strengthen our position in the Lower Silesia region and will enable us to expand cooperation with car manufacturers from Western Europe - says Jose Rogel Sanchez, General Manager at Gestamp Poland.

JLL represented the tenant

- In recent quarters Wrocław stock market was one of the most active in Poland. This is supported by, among others, low vacancy rate of only 6% and mismatch of vacancy and demand - says Tomasz Olszewski, Head of Industrial Department JLL for Central and Eastern Europe.

- Due to the excellent location and development potential, Goodman Wrocław IV Logistics Centre is one of the most interesting investments in the region. Besides, Goodman met the ambitious plans for the client and adapted to the requirements of above-standard object - says Michał Śniadała, Senior Consultant, JLL.

In addition, Goodman is building in the center a speculative warehouse with a space of ​​20,000 sq m. The completion of the construction of both facilities is scheduled for the third quarter of 2015.

The key location in the region

Wrocław IV Goodman Logistics Centre of the target space of ​​64,000 sq m lays in the key location in the region - 0,5 km distance from the A8 road ensures a good connection with Wrocław, Upper Silesia, Central Poland and Germany. The location within the city limits provides easy access to skilled workers.

In addition, the logistics center is located within the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone, which will allow tenants to use grants and access to training for employees.

Goodman has already built a total of nearly 180, 000 sq m. of warehouse space in Wrocław. The logistics centre mentioned above, in which Gestamp is the tenant, is the fourth park of the company in the region. This number also consist Goodman Wrocław East Logistics Centre (tenats here are Walki Group and TJX Europe), Goodman Wrocław Logistics Centre (Whirlpool) and Goodman Wrocław South Logistics Centre (Amazon).

Dekofilm Polska leases 7,350 sqm at Panattoni Park Radzymin


Panattoni Europe has signed a lease with Dekofilm Polska – a manufacturer of heat-shrinkable and stretch films for food packaging. The terms of the contract were mediated by experts from JLL. The transaction is for 7,350 sqm (6,800 sqm of manufacturing and warehouse space and 550 sqm of office space) at the developer’s new project – Panattoni Park Radzymin. The tenant will move into its new location in April 2018.
