Goodman Group, a leading global owner, developer and manager of industrial property, has signed two lease agreements for a total of 12,000 sqm at Poznań Airport Logistics Centre. The new customers are Victaulic, world leader in mechanical pipe joining systems, and an exporter of food products. With these new agreements, the first warehouse at Goodman’s Poznań Airport Logistics Centre, totalling 16,500 sqm, is now 100% leased.
Victaulic has leased 4,200 sqm of warehouse space and 500 sqm of office space at the logistics centre. The facility will be used for the warehousing and distribution of couplings, fittings and valves, manufactured at Victaulic’s foundry in Drezdenko.
“The products manufactured in Poland are delivered mainly to European customers, but also distributed around the world to supplement products made at other Victaulic foundries. In order to ensure effective logistics for our production, we needed a modern facility at a prime location. Goodman Poznań Airport Logistics Centre provided the perfect solution,” said Pascal Fiers, Operations Manager at Victaulic.
The second new customer at the logistics centre is a company specialising in the distribution of food products to foreign markets. It has leased 6,800 sqm of warehouse space and 500 sqm of office space.
“The success of investments, such as Goodman Poznań Airport Logistics Centre, is determined by convenient road infrastructure, strategic geographic location and a dynamic business environment, making the region one of the most attractive markets in Poland,” said Tomasz Mika, Head of Industrial Department Poland at JLL.
Goodman Poznań Airport Logistics Centre, with a target lease area of 52,000 sqm, is located in close vicinity to Ławica Airport, with a direct connection to the A2 motorway via the S11 expressway connecting Poznań with Germany, Central Poland and Warsaw.
