JYSK will occupy 10,504 sqm of warehouse space in the P3 Piotrków logistics park in central Poland.
Jysk has leased the space
previously occupied by InPost, which by the end of 2016 has moved to a larger
warehouse built by P3, also in the P3 Piotrków logistics park. The warehouse
left by the mail operator has only been vacant for two months, which testifies
to the attractiveness of the park. In the P3 park, JYSK will establish a buffer
warehouse, which will be used to store goods for several months before shipping
them to the company’s main distribution warehouse supplying products to
individual stores and clients.
“We are very pleased having signed a lease with a major company. Although it is our first lease contract, the negotiation process was very smooth, and the transaction was completed in just six weeks, which is much shorter than usual. I believe it is a good start for further cooperation,” says Piotr Bzowski, P3 Leasing & Development Director in Poland.
“In our negotiations, we managed to quickly work out the details, which allowed us to finalise the contract. The fact that we have reached an agreement after such short negotiations reflects well on the commercial approach and flexibility of the P3 team. We hope that the commitment visible at the negotiation stage will carry over to the lease period, guaranteeing successful collaboration. Apart from its distribution centre in Radomsko, which can accommodate almost 200,000 pallets, JYSK is already leasing almost 100,000 sqm of warehouse space in Poland,” says Bartek Tulejko, Logistic Manager Central – East Region at Jysk.
As of today, P3 Piotrków covers 90,105 sqm of existing warehouse space, as well as undeveloped land providing for another 400,000 sqm of future space. Being located in central Poland, the logistics park makes for an excellent hub to distribute goods both on the Polish market and international market.
