Fairly positive economic outlook for 2014, with Poland's economy expected to grow by 3.3 , allowed for cautious optimism as for the 2014 take-up results. After tree quarters of 2014 the market expected to register a sound demand, however, not as high as in 2013, when demand was boosted by Amazon's entry. Total demand reacheded 2.06 million sqm, of which 1.4 million sqm was attributable to new leases and lease expectations, representing an increase on 2013 by 6% for gross take - up and 5.5 for net take-up.
Developers returning to speculative activity is one of the key symptoms of a strenghtening market sentiment, particularly if recorded in regions, which do not feature high vacancies.
