MARKET ANALYSIS
Warsaw Suburbs
This region encompasses areas up to 50 km from the administrative borders of Warsaw. It is the biggest warehouse market in Poland in terms of storage space.
Most of the warehouse space is located along the major exit roads leading south and west to other major cities. The most common warehouse hubs in Warsaw Suburbs include: Ożarów Mazowiecki, Błonie, Teresin and Sochaczew along road No. 2 from the edge of Warsaw; and along road No. 8 in Janki, Nadarzyn and Mszczonów. A small number of projects are located in Piaseczno, close to road No. 79.
The A2 highway is scheduled for completion by mid-2012. This route runs from the German border, past Poznań, across central Poland, to Warsaw and, in the future, to the Belarusian border. Thanks to the new highway developer activity in the area is increasing, which will result in further development of warehouse projects.
