Wrocław
First warehouse projects were developed in the Bielany Wrocławskie district by Prologis in 2005. Since then a second major player, Panattoni, has become active in the Wrocław region. In addition to those two, Parkridge, Skalski, Tiner and Eurologis have also invested in Wrocław and both Goodman and SEGRO will have projects in the region in the near future.
Modern storage projects are mainly concentrated in the south of Wrocław, along the A4 highway in Kąty Wrocławskie, Nowa Wieś and Bielany Wrocławskie. The northern part of the city: Psie Pole, Mirków and Długołęka, became popular after completion of the Ring Road and some new projects will be located there.
Thanks to good road infrastructure this region is popular among the logistics operators, who create the largest group of tenants. Another group who generate high demand in Upper Silesia are companies from the automotive sector. The high number of population in Silesian voivodeship (over 4,6 million people).
Similar to other large agglomerations, the city is gradually developing a complex offer targeted at companies less demanding in terms of warehouse space. Business Centre Wrocław was the first property of this type in Wrocław.
