The importance of new locations on the industrial real estate market in Poland looks set to rapidly grow - this is the conclusion that can be drawn from the “Small town, big deal” report prepared by JLL in cooperation with Hillwood Poland and ManpowerGroup. The so-called Big Five still remain the growth engine and continuously attract the majority of investments. However, cities such as Konin, Kielce and Częstochowa are the rising stars of the Polish industrial market.

Panattoni Europe will lease over 21,000 sqm to InPost in four distribution centers - Toruń, Bydgoszcz, Szczecin and Opole. The increasingly dense network of Panattoni warehouses, covering areas also outside major agglomerations, presents an attractive proposition for logistic companies which witness a rapid e-commerce development and therefore they strive to be closer to the customers. Hence, the warehousing facilities leased to InPost will feature sorting services for the growing number of InPost Paczkomat® self-service parcel outlets and InPost Kurier services. The sorting operations in the warehouses will start in the first quarter of 2020.

Panattoni Europe embarks on the construction of Panattoni Park Częstochowa. It is the developer’s first project of this kind in the north of the Silesian voivodeship. Two modern halls will offer in total 30,400 sqm of class A space. Construction works are set to begin in October, and the first units will be handed over to tenants in February 2020.
