“A year ago, DSV Solutions leased 15,000 sq m of warehouse space at the Pomeranian Logistics Centre, which gave the developer a green light to start construction of a new building as part of the park. We are dealing with a similar situation now - the lease agreement for 3,500 sq m of warehouse space concluded recently by DSV Solutions will initiate the construction of another building within the same Goodman complex. The expansion of the company's warehouse space in Gdańsk is not only associated with the rapid development of our customer's services in this region, but also the excellent location of the logistics centre and the possibility of adapting the space to the specific needs of DSV”, comments Mateusz Iłowiecki, Senior Consultant at Industrial Department, JLL.
DSV Solutions specializes in providing comprehensive warehouse logistics solutions. The range of services offered by the company covers the entire logistics process at all planning levels, from warehouse operations to inventory management and distribution. The company's new warehouse will be equipped with a temperature control system and a number of other dedicated improvements that will allow DSV Solutions to effectively provide services to its customer from the pharmaceutical industry.
“We are pleased that our many years of experience in providing services for the pharmaceutical industry has resulted in the launch of another advanced project for a reputable manufacturer of modern drugs. This is another milestone in the development of our thriving Gdańsk branch”, underlines Piotr Wojtkowski, Sales Director at DSV Solutions.
“Companies using the Pomeranian Logistics Centre are closer to their customer around the world. It is a multimodal facility which, thanks to easy access to road, sea and rail infrastructure, serves as an ideal centre for both national and international distribution. We are pleased to create an additional, technically advanced space for DSV Solutions in Gdańsk”, adds Jarosław Czechowicz, Country Manager at Goodman Poland.
The Pomeranian Logistics Centre is located in the immediate vicinity of the DCT Gdańsk deepwater container terminal - the largest and fastest growing facility of its type in Poland. The terminal has regular freight connections, including with major ports in Asia. The park is located 9 km from the centre of Gdańsk and 23 km from the Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa International Airport as well as being within easy reach of the S6 and S7 expressways and the A1 motorway. Ultimately, up to 500,000 sq m of logistics and production space with office facilities may be developed in the Pomeranian Logistics Centre.
