The biggest new lease contract on the Polish warehouse market in 2015 – Leroy Merlin leases 53 000 sq m in Stryków

A new main distribution center for Leroy Merlin of 53 000 sq m is planned for construction. This is the largest new lease agreement on the Polish warehouse market this year. In the process of selecting a business partner, location and negotiating attractive terms of the lease Leroy Merlin was represented by experts from the international consulting firm JLL.

In Stryków a BTS (build-to-suit) object with a leasable area of 53 000 sq m will be built. It will support Leroy Merlin stores across the country. - Acquisition of 53 000 sq m. of warehouse space is the largest new lease contract signed this year on the Polish industrial market - says Tomasz Mika, Head of Industrial Department JLL in Poland.

- The central location enables efficient distribution of goods throughout the country. Access to transport infrastructure - motorways A1 and A2, developed labour market and attractive lease terms determined the choice the location in the vicinity of Stryków - adds Tomasz Mika, JLL.

Leroy Merlin already has one store in Stryków, with a space of 56 000 sq m. In conjunction with the newly implemented investment, Leroy Merlin will create a storage hub in Central Poland.
