Łódź Special Economic Zone

Łódź Special Economic Zone covers the area of 1302 ha in three provinces: Łódzkie, Mazovia and Greater Poland. The largest part of the Zone is located in the Łódzkie Province.


Location

Łódź Special Economic Zone is situated in central Poland, at the intersection of East-West and North-South transportation routes. At the same time, it is located in the area of the Poland’s largest transportation hub (highways, express roads, Łódź Władysław Reymont Airport and a railway container terminal).

Subzones

The Łódź SEZ consists of 45 subzones, which are located in Łódź, Ksawerów, Zgierz, Ozorków, Aleksandrów Łódzki, Tomaszów Mazowiecki, Zduńska Wola, Bełchatów, Rawa Mazowiecka, Łęczyca, Kutno, Koło, Radomsko, Sieradz, Wieluń, Paradyż, Piotrków Trybunalski, Nowe Skalmierzyce, Turek, Przykon, Sławno, Warsaw and others.

Investors

The major investors are: Dell Products (Poland) Sp. z o.o. (USA), Gillette Poland International Sp. z o.o. (USA), Procter and Gamble Operations Polska Sp. z o.o. (USA), Indesit Company Polska Sp. z o.o. (Italy), ABB Sp. z.o.o. (Netherlands). The value of investment expenditures in the Zone has exceeded 9.8 bn PLN and over 218 business permits have been issued there.
