Łódź Special Economic Zone is situated in central Poland, at the intersection of East-West and North-South transportation routes. The major investors are: Dell Products (Poland) Sp. z o.o. (USA), Gillette Poland International Sp. z o.o. (USA), Procter and Gamble Operations Polska Sp. z o.o. (USA), Indesit Company Polska Sp. z o.o. (Italy), ABB Sp. z.o.o. (Netherlands). The value of investment expenditures in the Zone has exceeded 9.8 bn PLN and over 218 business permits have been issued there.
