In the first half of the year, MLP Group has signed 11 contracts for a total of 97,800 sqm of warehouse space, which is equivalent to the amount of space leased by the company in the entire previous year.
Japan Tobacco International’s (JTI) new factor has been opened in Stary Gostków in the Łódź Voivodship. The new, technologically advanced production plant of 70 thousand square metres has been built next to the two existing JTI factories.
The automotive industry continues to be an important branch of the Polish economy. It is responsible for about 8 percent of the GDP and 13 percent of domestic exports while employing almost 175 thousand people. In 2016, the value of marketed production of the Polish automotive industry amounted to PLN 135.6 billion.
Panattoni Europe has signed a lease with Dekofilm Polska – a manufacturer of heat-shrinkable and stretch films for food packaging. The terms of the contract were mediated by experts from JLL. The transaction is for 7,350 sqm (6,800 sqm of manufacturing and warehouse space and 550 sqm of office space) at the developer’s new project – Panattoni Park Radzymin. The tenant will move into its new location in April 2018.
The first quarter of 2017 on the warehouse market ended with excellent results. Companies leased almost 850,000 sqm of space. It was the best opening quarter in the history of the Polish market. The main driving force was commerce, including e-commerce.
Panattoni Europe, Poland’s leader in the industrial space market, is to build another distribution centre for Castorama Polska. The project, one of the biggest in Poland, will be delivered in Stryków. Contruction works will commence later this April, and the lease was mediated by experts from JLL.
Panattoni Europe, industrial space market leader, is to build a logistics centre for BSH Sprzęt Gospodarstwa Domowego Sp. z o.o. The 79,000-square-metre facility will be erected in Łódź, within the framework of BTS BSH, and will have its own railway siding.
LBP Manufacturing Poland, a company specializing in the manufacture of food and beverage packaging, has decided to renew its lease agreement on over 5,000 sq m of industrial and office space in Logicor complex in Łódź. Experts from JLL represented LBP during the transaction.
