A fashion giant invests in Goleniów
In the autumn, the Danish fashion group Bestseller will begin the construction of a European e-commerce logistics centre. The building will be located in the Goleniów Industrial Park and service customers from 15 European countries.
“This is the largest and one of the most interesting investment projects in the Goleniów Industrial Park in the recent years. Other than Goleniów, the investor was considering not just Stargard and Gardno, but also locations in Germany,” emphasises Robert Krupowicz, the mayor of Goleniów, in an interview with “Kurier Szczeciński”.
According to the newspaper, a warehouse and a three-storey building with office and staff areas with a total surface area of 120,000 sqm will be constructed in a plot of over 15 ha. Apart from the warehouse, the investment project includes a photography studio, a technical support department, a training centre, a canteen and a showroom. Within the schedule, the facility is supposed to be fully equipped by spring 2019 and open in summer 2019.
Bestseller purchased a plot of 17.6 ha in the Goleniów Industrial Park. The area has a status of a special economic zone, and the investor has already received a business permit. Bestseller is a large Danish fashion consortium with 15,000 stores in dozens of countries around the world. The special purpose vehicle Bestseller Commerce Poland has paid PLN 7.8 million for the plot in Goleniów.
