BIK will build for Dachser

Dachser has ordered over 15 500 square meters of modern space in the new logistics center BIK Park Wrocław I. Biuro Inwestycji Kapitałowych intends to launch the investment in Kąty Wrocławskie in June this year. The delivery of the finished facility to the Dachser company is planned at the beginning of next year.


The global logistics company Dachser has signed a lease agreement with Biuro Inwestycji Kapitałowych for over 15 500 square meters of space within the new logistics center BIK Park Wrocław I located in Kąty Wrocławskie. The warehouse will take about 9 200 square meters. Another 5 300 square meters will be allocated for cross-docking purposes, and over 1 000 square meters will be office and social space. The contract was concluded for a period of seven years.

- We are very pleased with the extension of cooperation with the Dachser company, with which we have been cooperating for over 10 years. Last year, we provided a logistic operator with a modern area to use in our Logistic Center in Sosnowiec. The concluded contract confirms that our offer is tailored to the needs and requirements of the tenant - said Mirosław Koszany, president of the Management Board of Biuro Inwestycji Kapitałowych S.A.

Biuro Inwestycji Kapitałowych intends to launch the project in June this year. The first investment phase for the Dachser company is planned for completion in January 2020.

Innovative solutions to increase the safety of use will be implemented in the building. It will be used a monitoring system for continuous control of flat roofs and prevention of overloading.

The facility will also be adapted to the possibility of installing a charging station for electric cars. It will be also included a backup power supply in the form of a power generator. The facility will also be adapted to the individual needs of the tenant. The project will include adjustable fender guards at the docks and reinforced positions for swap bodies used by the customer.

The building will also be adapted to the individual IT infrastructure required by the tenant. The investor intends to obtain the Breeam certificate, which is currently one of the most commonly used methods of building assessment in terms of their environmental performance. This will confirm that the facility meets the highest standards in terms of environmental protection, comfort of use and performance.

Dachser is a key and long-term customer of Biuro Inwestycji Kapitałowych. The cooperation started in October 2008. Currently, the company uses 8 520 square meters of space in the Silesian Logistics Center in Sosnowiec. Dachser is one of the world leaders in the logistics industry. The business model of the company is based on transport and warehouse logistics services.

BIK Park Wrocław I will be built in Nowa Wieś Wrocławska, Katy Wrocławskie commune, near the A4 Pietrzykowice motorway exit. The real estate will be located on land with an area of ​​11.7 hectares, designated in the Local Spatial Development Plan for production, storage and services.

The location of the logistics center near the A4 motorway in the immediate vicinity of the Wrocław Południe interchange and the Pietrzykowice interchange is a very attractive location. The warehouse and office space of the planned investment will reach about 47 000 square meters.
