Lidl to build a new logistics centre in Hungary

Lidl will build a new logistics centre in Hungary for EUR 98.5 million. The Hungarian government will support this investment with EUR 3.4 million.

Jenoe Grosz, CEO of Lidl Hungary, said that Lidl's fourth logistics centre will be built in Ecser in Pest county and will be much larger than the three existing warehouse bases - it is to have 62,000 sqm. According to plans, the facility will be ready in November 2021.

The investment will create 400 new jobs in Hungary.
