Mirbud builds a hall in Stalowa Wola

Mirbud company has been chosen to build the ARP hall in Stalowa Wola. The company will construct a production and warehouse with social and office facilities with a total area of 11.5 thousand sqm. The project is an element of support programme for medium-sized towns and cities. Its value is almost PLN 24 million net.

The facility, which is currently under construction, nearly 10,000 sqm will be used for three independent production zones with an area of 5,000 sqm, 3,000 sqm and 2,000 sqm. There is 1.6 thousand sqm of space designated for offices and social rooms. On the plot at Kasprzyckiego Street in Stalowa Wola (3.4 ha), apart from the building, there will be a parking lot with two hundred parking spaces.

- For over twenty years, the Industrial Development Agency has been managing two special economic zones, within which several dozen subzones operate. Our task isn’t only to support the development of companies, but also the development of regions. This is possible thanks to good cooperation with entrepreneurs and local government authorities. The effect of this cooperation will be a modern production facility, which will be built in Stalowa Wola. The investment areas of this city belong to the Tarnobrzeg Special Economic Zone Euro-Park Wisłosan, and their industrial traditions date back to the times of the Central Industrial District. I am pleased that we can continue to do so successfully today, creating suitable infrastructure for investors. The hall is optimized for the needs of medium-sized production companies, which may become the largest beneficiary of the new law on investment support - said Dariusz Śliwowski, Vice-President of ARP S.A.

Completion of the construction and finishing works are planned for the end of 2019. This means that the companies will be able to start operating at Kasprzyckiego Street from 2020. The general contractor is Mirbud S.A. from Skierniewice. The facility will be built in the "design-build" system. The Company submitted the best bid in the tender announced by ARP S.A.

- I am convinced that our thirty years of experience, over 500 completed construction projects and highly qualified technical staff will bring the highest quality and many innovative solutions to this project. I also hope that this investment will be the beginning of fruitful cooperation and that the Industrial Development Agency will join to a large group of our regular business partners - says Jerzy Mirgos, President of the Management Board of Mirbud S.A.

Stalowa Wola Subzone is one of the most active regions of the Tarnobrzeg Special Economic Zone Euro-Park Wisłosan. Entrepreneurs operating on the basis of permits issued by ARP S.A. incurred investment outlays in the amount of over one billion zlotys, with a total employment of almost 6 thousand people. In October this year, ARP S.A. also signed a letter of intent with the city's self-government authorities as part of the Factory Programme.

Its aim is to support the development of medium-sized cities through the construction of office buildings and activities aimed at commercialization of existing buildings, where companies from the modern business services sector will be able to operate. The project started in Radom. Agreements were also signed in Mielec, Zamość and Tarnobrzeg.

Industrial Development Agency S.A. improves and develops new mechanisms of supporting the development of enterprises within the managed zones, i.e. the Tarnobrzeg Special Economic Zone Euro-Park Wisłosan and the Special Economic Zone Euro-Park Mielec.
