Nearly 20,000 sqm of space for Ideal Automotive in Zielona Góra
A BTS production facility for the German company Ideal Automotive has been constructed in the Kostrzyń-Słubice Special Economic Zone. The 19,645 sqm facility in Zielona Góra has been developed by Panattoni Europe.
The developer has constructed a warehouse and production hall for Ideal Automotive from Germany, a manufacturer of interior components and furnishings: floor coverings, mats, upholstery, fittings and acoustic solutions for several dozen car makes, among others Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Volvo, Volkswagen, McLaren, Lamborghini, Bugatti and Porsche.
The 19,645 sqm facility has been developed in Zielona Góra, within a special economic zone in the Lubuski Industrial and Technology Park. The production part takes up 8652 sqm of space in the facility. It has been adjusted to the technological needs related to the tenant’s production process, including reinforcing the floor, setting up technological installations such as compressed air equipment and energy supply for machines, as well as constructing a technical building with a compressor room, a refrigeration plant, a battery room and watercourse pumps.
The warehouse area covers 6,400 sqm, while the office and social part occupy an area of 1538 sqm. Additionally, the property has 200 parking spaces for passenger cars and 10 spaces for trucks. All access roads have been adapted for heavy transport vehicles. The construction works started in October 2016, the premises have been delivered to the tenant in March 2017, and the official opening of the facility took place on September 7th.
