Panattoni is building warehouses for electronics and batteries for electric cars. The developer has started the construction of Panattoni Park Wrocław XI, located south-west of the city centre in Nowa Wieś Wrocławska. The complex, with a space of 100,000 sqm, has already got its first tenant. It is Pantos Logistics - the undisputed leader of the Korean market and one of the largest logistics operators in the Asia-Pacific region.
As part of its strategy of consolidating three branches near Wrocław, the company will ultimately lease as much as 72,000 sqm in Panattoni Park Wrocław XI. In the first phase, Pantos Logistics will take up 60,000 sqm, with the warehouse zone occupying 57,500 sqm and the office space occupying 2,500 sqm. The main clients of the company, serviced within the park, will be LG Chem - one of the world's largest manufacturers of automotive lithium-ion batteries and LG Electronics - one of the global leaders in the electronics market.
Pantos Logistics, however, is not limiting itself only to LG and as Piotr Zienkiewicz, Logistics Manager, commented: “The new Pantos Logistics warehouse in Panattoni Park Wrocław XI will enable us to increase the number of operations and our throughput will increase by about 30%. After consolidation of the existing facilities into one, in the strategic location, we are looking to achieving synergy and cooperation of our teams, which will enable us to offer cooperation to other companies located in Wrocław and its close proximity. We want to go beyond the area of previous operations, show our professionalism to other clients and strengthen our position on the Wrocław logistics market.”
The choice of the Wrocław area for the construction of a new logistics park guarantees the strategic location of Panattoni Europe in relation to three capitals - Warsaw, Prague and Berlin.
“The location of Panattoni Park Wrocław XI has a perfect road connections. The investment is located right at the Pietrzykowice junction of the A4 motorway, connecting the western and eastern borders of Poland, and the A8 Wrocław Motorway Bypass is just 4 km away Lower Silesia has also access to the labour force. The region is inhabited by approx. 3 million people, including 600,000 in Wrocław alone, and the number of 140,000 students in Wrocław creates potential for filling all the positions needed by the tenants of the logistics park,” said Marek Dobrzycki, Managing Director at Panattoni Europe.
Panattoni Park Wrocław XI will include two warehouse halls with a total area of 100,000 sqm. The architectural design has been adapted to the needs of tenants, both in terms of technical specification and the area of individual production, warehouse, social and office rooms.
Customers will also benefit from spacious manoeuvring areas and parking lots and exit gates from level "0". The park is located at Relaksowa Street in Nowa Wieś Wrocławska, next to the A4 motorway and close to its "Wrocław Południe" junction with the A8.
