The annual report describes and distinguishes the most
attractive locations for foreign direct investment in the world. The

The Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone has been appreciated as a particularly attractive place for the automotive industry. Thanks to the investments of global giants such as Toyota, Mercedes and Volkswagen, not only the automotive industry is developing in south-western Poland, but also related branches such as metal and plastic processing, logistics and warehousing services for this sector.
The WSEZ has been also distinguished for the dynamics of development of companies which located their plants there. First of all, another Toyota Motor Manufacturing Poland project has been appreciated. Thanks to the investments of the Japanese concern, Poland has become the second, apart from Japan, centre producing modern hybrid drives.
In previous years the Wałbrzych SEZ was ranked in 4th position in Europe and 22nd position in the world in terms of investment attractiveness. The WSEZ was also particularly recommended for locating investments in Europe and has been awarded for the quality and comprehensiveness of services provided to entrepreneurs.
