Since the 90s there have been approx. 400-450 mln USD pumped into the municipality. In 2011 400 companies with their operations in Tarnowo Podgorne were recorded.

There are 2 Prologis warehouse parks located in Sady, next to Tarnowo Podgorne, totaling over 163 000 sq m. Its tenants include DSV Road, Solid Logistics, JAS FBG and Rhenus. Other companies that have chosen to locate their warehouse in the area are Coca Cola, Fresenius Kabi and IGEPA. The latest newest warehouse development, totaling 60 000 sq m. is being delivered by Goodman for French food retailer Intermarche.

Tarnowo Podgorne assets have also been spotted by American e-commerce giant Amazon which is developing a 100 000 sq m. warehouse in collaboration with Panattoni.
