Będzin has an extremely favorable location along major transport routes (both road and rail) and the largest transport junction in Poland, formed by Silesian capital and the voivoceship’s largest cities (Upper Silesia Metropolitan Union).
The area of Będzina is intersected by two major national roads: 94 from Wroclaw to Krakow (an alternative to the A4 motorway) and 86 from Katowice to Warsaw, which just 11 km from Bedzin, at Podwarpie junction connects with S1 expressway (E75). Road no 910 links Bedzin and Dobrowa Gornicza (used to act as part of Krakow-Wroclaw route). What is more, road no 86 in Wojkowice Church connects with road no 1, which runs from Poland-Czech Republic border, through Bielsko Biala, Czestochowa, Lodz up to Gdansk.
Such attractive connection with the whole Sielsian Agglomeration and other regions across the country has already been acknowledged by the likes of Carefour, GH Emperia and BAC-POL (food retailers), who have truned Bedzin warehouses into their distribution centres.
