Apart from logistics companies, industrial space in Czeladz is also occupied by manufacturing companies. There is also plenty of opportunities for new ventures, especially since Czeladz – thanks to its location on the border of Katowice agglomeration – offers access to a rich consumer market, know-how, new technologies and large labour pool.
As a part of Silesia Economic Gateway programme, 207 ha of agricultural land has been have been transformed and adopted, along with local road infrastructure for the purpose of new industrial investments. This landscape is now referred to as the Eastern Economic Zone. So far, companies such as Saint Gobain - Le Platforme (producer of windshields), McDonald 's, Man Star Trucks and Buderus have located their operations in the area.
